Texas Warbird Group to Hold Christmas Night at the Museum

The sights and sounds of warbirds will be featured  at the Greatest Generation Aircraft’s Christmas Night at the Museum tonight at the Vintage Flying Museum at Fort Worth’s Meacham Field at 505 NW 38th St.

The stars of the event, the non-profit group’s holiday fundraiser, will be the GGA’s North American B-25 “Pacific Prowler,” Douglas C-47 “Southern Cross,” and Douglas A-26K “Special Kay.” The aircraft will be available for tours and the B-25 will be fired up, too. Airborne tours of the area’s Christmas lights will be given aboard the C-47 beginning tonight and continuing throughout the weekend. The party will include a catered buffet and a cash bar, visits with GGA pilots and crew and more. Aviator Santa will even be available for photos.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $25 per person or $20 for GGA members and active-duty military. The Christmas lights flight plus admittance to the party is only $119 per person. For tickets, call 817-659-9249, send a note to greatestgeneration@yahoo.com or click here.
