Indianapolis Makes Up for Air Show Loss

With the Indianapolis Air Show grounded after a 16-year run in Indiana, aviation enthusiasts have two airworthy substitutes to look up to over the next two weekends.

An Indy fly-in this Saturday will feature hundreds of private pilots gathered at Indianapolis Regional Airport (formerly Mount Comfort Airport) in Hancock County. On June 7, the Commemorative Air Force Warbird Expo and Tom Wood Aviation’s community day will be held at Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport near Allisonville Road and 106th Street in Fishers.
