Inaugural Air Show Set for St. George

Inaugural Air Show Set for St. George

Fighter jets, fire engines, hot rods and helicopters will be among the attractions on display at the inaugural Wings and Wheels event, scheduled Sept. 7 at the Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum at the St. George Airport in Southern Utah.

Sam Wood, one of the event organizers, said the goal is to create a “family friendly” event that will appeal to all ages.

“We will have bounce houses, face painting and treats for the children; cars and planes for dad; and goodies by Scentsy, Paparazzi and many others there for mom,” Wood said. Other attractions will include a classic car show with hot rods, exotic cars and “high-end” automobiles; a display from the St. George Fire Department; raffles with prizes from area merchants; and live entertainment provided by the “Famous Unknowns.”
