Gathering of the Classics Set for Saturday

The annual Gathering of the Classics at the Edenvale Aerodrome in Clearview Township, Ontario, Canada, is this Saturday. Organized by the Edenvale Classic Aircraft Foundation, which is based at the airfield, the event will feature an array of vintage airplanes, cars and motorcycles.

The foundation, comprised of aviation buffs, expects up to 250 aircraft will be on display and that more than 120 vehicles will be, too. There will also be a chance to fly in a Second World War North American B-25 Mitchell bomber and a de Havilland Tiger Moth bi-plane, which is part of the foundation’s collection.

People interested in flying in one of these planes should call in advance as space is limited. The number to call is 705-309-3007.
