Time Running Out for Tokyo Raiders Medals

Here is an Generic Petition for the CGM. You all know that we are trying to get the Congressional Gold Medal for the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders before we lose any more of them as we are down to the last 4 out of the 80 brave airmen who took off so long ago from the deck of the USS Hornet on April 18 1942 to give Japan a little pay back for Pearl Harbor and the early loses in the Pacific. Go to www.doolittleraider.com for more information on the Raiders the raid and the CGM.
It has taken me 2 1Ž2 years to get this far, as of today 33 Senators have signed on as co-sponsors for Senate Bill 381 and 124 House Reps. have signed on as co-sponsors for House Bill 1209 by going to the Doolittle Raiders web site you can see who has signed on as co-sponsors, we need them to become Co-Sponsors. 17 states have no House of Representatives signed up yet and they are AL/AK/DE/HA/ID/KS/KY/LA/ME/NV/NJ/NM/RI/SD/VT/WV/WI.

So you can see we still have a lot of work to do, anyplace you have a group or a crowd of people try and get them to sign one of the petitions. If you have not yet called or written you US Senators and House Reps. please do so or if you have and they are not yet signed on as a co-sponsor contact them again. I know I may sound like a broken record but we need your help if we are going to make this happen for the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders and we still have 4 of them with us and I hope 3 of them can be there when we get this done for the ceremony. Time is not on are side!!!!!

As I said we have our work cut out for us, so please try and get as many folks as you can to sign, here is my mailing address Brian Anderson  3 Johnson Ave.  Salem, NH  03079

Any and all help is appreciated and I thank you, the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders and their Families and Friends thank you.  If you have any questions let me know.

Online Editor I've been around airplanes since I was a kid. That's when my uncle, a professional pilot, showed me how to fly his Cessna 177 Cardinal. l later became a writer and editor, so covering the exciting and ever-changing aviation industry -- which I've been doing in Flight Journal's Flybys since the late '90s -- was a natural fit.
