For those of us who couldn’t make it to the 2013 edition of the Paris Air Show, the folks at Popular Science (you know, the publication that predicted we’d all have flying cars by now) posted a story yesterday on some of the aircraft that were displayed at Paris-Le Bourget Airport. While not a comprehensive piece on the industry’s biggest biennial gathering that wrapped on Sunday, it’s certainly an informative snapshot of what its staff found, ah, well, awesome.

About the author

Online Editor I've been around airplanes since I was a kid. That's when my uncle, a professional pilot, showed me how to fly his Cessna 177 Cardinal. l later became a writer and editor, so covering the exciting and ever-changing aviation industry -- which I've been doing in Flight Journal's Flybys since the late '90s -- was a natural fit.
